I decided to come to Nebrija because I have always loved Spain: a fascinating country with charming people and chock-full of history. At Nebrija I have met people from many different countries. It¿s a small university and that means integrating with other students is very easy.

I believe that nowadays in a world that¿s constantly changing, it is fundamental to become familiar with other cultures, and even more so for a student of International Relations, like me. Without a doubt, I am taking good advantage of my time at Nebrija. There is an excellent atmosphere and the professors give the best to their students.

Studying a year abroad is an indesdescribable experience. You not only broaden your understanding of other cultures, buy you learn a lot about yourself. Nebrija caught our attention because of its variety of international programmes. On campus it¿s easy to connect with other students and with professors as well. Although our stay was short, we have deepened our knowledge of International Business and we will always have memories and friends from Nebrija.

I chose Nebrija because they let me design my own curriculum My international semester I took five courses: Relaciones internacionales, Spanish language, Historia de la Publicidad, Instituciones Económicas Internacionales, and Foreign Trade. The best part was that I attended class with Spanish students, because that helped me integrate into university life and it improved my Spanish.

I remember vividly the first day I walked into the International Programs¿ office. I was received by huge smiles and positive attitudes. Why are they all so happy?, I thought. During the following days at La Salle, the answer to my question jumped right at me.

The two years I spent at La Salle University, have served as a wonderful journey for me. It is truly difficult to either quantify or verbalize how content I am about the level of education I received, the quality of people I met, the opportunities I found, and the amount of stimulating moments I experienced. I know that the lessons I learned at La Salle will serve me in good stead for the rest of my life.

At La Salle I¿ve gained the necessary foundations to succeed at anything in life. I¿m not just saying this as the classic graduating student cliché; I honestly believe it¿to the bone. I attribute this self assurance to the teaching staff at La Salle. I feel privileged¿indeed honored¿to have studied under such a talented and selfless group of professors. Whatever I end up doing in life, I will always look back on my experiences at La Salle with gratitude and humility. Certainly, at La Salle I was formed, and this I will never forget.
As a final recommendation to those students who are still fortunate enough to roam La Salle¿s campus, I¿d like to borrow a phrase used by an admired teacher: seize the day!

I had a great year studying in La Salle University. La Salle provides an international environment to its students and strong support from its administration staff. I have learnt a lot from the daily classes en enriched my cross-cultural knowledge by studying together with students from all over the world. It is a university where professors and students work hand in hand, in order to prepare you for your professional life. My contact with the University of Navarra began with a conversation on a plane ride between Rome and Bilbao. The woman sitting next to me was a nurse at the University Clinic, and after visiting for an hour, we exchanges emails and kept in touch for the following year. During this time, she encouraged me to think about studying abroad at the University of Navarra.
At this point, I was close to the end of my degree in International Studies but I felt like I didn´t have a concrete skill to offer in the work force. I knew that being able to speak Spanish would be a huge advantage but a past study abroad experience was not very helpful because it did not provide high-exposure to native Spanish speakers.
This time I wanted to go to a place where I could truly immerse myself in the Spanish language and culture. My friend assured me that I would receive this at the University of Navarra, so I decided to take her advice and go for an entire year to Pamplona to complete a double major in Spanish.
The decision was rather spontaneous but looking back on the year, I can honestly say that it was one of the best decisions that I have ever made. I absolutely fell in love with the campus, the city, and the country...so much so that I have decided to stay in Pamplona to work. The level of Spanish that I achieved during this year has allowed me to work comfortably in an all-Spanish environment and has opened the doors wide to a variety of career options. Also, I was
amazed by the challenges provided by my classes. It was obvious to see Why this University is ranked as the top private university in Spain.
But more importantly, the environment is one-of-a-kind: safe, warm, and stimulating. Definitely the perfect place to study abroad for someone who is truly wanting to learn the Spanish language, receive a top-quality education, and develop strong relationships with people from all over the world.
