Many linguists agree that it takes approximately 30 weeks of intensive study to gain proficiency in a language. The 32 week Academic Year program at CENP assures that students achieve proficiency. CENP encourages students to complement their Spanish language classes with one or two academic courses in the undergraduate program with the Spanish students. Students may choose from one of the college’s nine areas of studies: Advertising, Antiquarian Studies, Graphic Arts, Marketing, Information Technologies, Interior Architecture, Office Administration, Public Relations and Tourism.
The main focus of the program is to get students to communicate as quickly as possible by using real life materials to better help you understand and move around comfortably in Spanish daily life. The Spanish Language Department is small, personalized and the teachers are some of the best qualified in the field. CENP has received numerous awards for excellence in teaching.
After classes several cultural visits are organized throughout the week to nearby sights. Optional excursions are available most weekends to nearby towns and cities.
