Spanish Host Family Host family accommodations are above all, a way for international students to practice their Spanish and immerse themselves completely in Spanish culture. Living with a host family means not only having a comfortable bed to sleep in and home cooked meals, it also means connecting with people from a background and life that is very different from your own. Host families offer a support and guidance for you as you adjust to your new surroundings, and can make your stay more enjoyable. They are there to help you with any problems or challenges that you have while in Estudiafuera´s language schools typically provide host family accommodations with host families where you can choose to have full or partial board. Full board means three meals per day and partial board usually means breakfast and lunch or dinner. In some cases there is the option to only take breakfast in the host family. Students may also choose between accommodations in a single room, or they may share a double room with another international student. Host families will also do laundry and will provide bed linens and towels to students. Student Residence Student residences are quite different from on campus university dormitories. The student residences in Shared Student Apartment Shared student apartments are great for students who wish to have independence.
