The Academic Year at Universidad Camilo José Cela is an ideal program for students with a beginning level of Spanish who would like to participate in an intensive Spanish immersion course. This program is designed to carry students to an advanced level of Spanish in only nine months. The Spanish classes are small (maximum 15 students) and students receive plenty of personalized attention. Students will not only be able to practice their Spanish inside the classroom, but will also have plenty of opportunities to interact with Spaniards while living in the modern student residences on campus. In addition, students may choose one university course per semester from among the many areas of studies offered at the university. The intensive Spanish language course allows plenty of free time to explore the city of Madrid and the nearby areas of interest. There will also be optional guided visits and excursions available to the nearby historical towns of El Escorial, Toledo and Segovia.
