The semester program for international students at Antonio Nebrija is a flexible program with many course offerings in addition to Spanish language studies. UAN prepares international students with a four-week intensive Spanish language course before the actual semester begins. After the four-week course, students may enter into up to four academic courses in their particular areas of interest. Students who need support in Spanish are encouraged to sign up for a Spanish course for the semester.
The University has two campuses: the Dehesa de la Villa Campus in the center of Madrid, and the Berezosa Campus, about 40 minutes from the city center. At Dehesa de la Villa, students can choose from a wide range of courses related to Spanish Studies, such as Current Issues in Spain, 20th Century Literature, Art in the Prado Museum, Contemporary Spanish Society, the Modern Spanish Novel, Business Spanish, Spanish Politics and Diversity in Spain. Students interested in studies in other fields and have at least a high intermediate level of Spanish are welcome to participate in courses on the Berezosa campus.
In addition to courses, international students will have many opportunities to participate in social and cultural activities. Activities in Madrid, such as theater, films, and dinners are organized by the university, as are optional visits to nearby cities of interest like Toledo, Segovia, and Avila.
