Bridge Year students are rising college freshman who elect to depart from the status quo and take one year for themselves prior to beginning their university career. The bridge year course at UN offers students a unique opportunity to explore various avenues of study, while learning Spanish, and discovering themselves in a new context. The Bridge Year is an excellent choice for students who wish to have a challenging and rewarding cross cultural experience before going on to pursue more specific areas of study.
Bridge Year students will have the opportunity to participate in the Spanish Courses offered at the UN Institute of Spanish Language and Culture, as well as a variety of other courses, according to the students’ interests and Spanish level. Generally, students may take up to 6 different classes, and they elect a combination of the Spanish classes with other offerings at the University.
